First of October, I bought one of the Herc-u-lifts on close out at HD. Got it home and it was missing a lot of parts. Mainly both sets of brackets to make it do anything. Didn't take it back to the store because there were no more to be found in Atlanta. Called Ridgid and they said they would send me the parts.
About a month later, I found another (unopened) at a store while I was traveling. Since I bought the first one to go on my bandsaw, I was able to use the bandsaw brackets from the new one, and still mount one to my jointer.
When I get home today, I have a package sitting on my doorstep. I had not ordered anything lately, so I was confused.:confused:
Opened it up, and it was my replacement brackets for the first Herc-u-lift. Only took four months. :D
All in all, I'm not really sure if I am glad or irked. Now I have parts (that I no longer need). But that lead time was a little high.
