Over time I have been following the various threads regarding mortice stand alone machines and tenon jigs for the table saw, and I have been debating whether or not to buy at least the mortice machine. However, I have a Leigh D4 jig and it has an accessory (M2) that will make mortice and tenons for $199. What is your experiences with this jig, does it perform well and what are the down sides to it compared to the others? I suppose it is slower, but for a hobbiest that is not necessarily a bad thing.

Thanks, Harley

Owned one and sent it back after testing it a few times. Routing the mortises was very difficult because the sawdust accumulated in the hole, even when using my Festool router with a dust port. Accuracy was also not satisfactory, although I don't remember exactly why--probably related to the sawdust problem.
