Tutorial: Making a Sand Shaded Fan

I just completed a tutorial on how to make a veneer sand shaded fan. It's available here (http://members.cox.net/mnhenderson/papers/SandShadedFan.pdf). It's about a 2MB pdf.

A sand shaded fan is shown in the attached picture.
