on a dresser im making I was thinking of just using my ts to make the profile.the question ii have is what blade should i use to do this?
glue line rip or combo or? any thoughts would be great

Years back I used to cut coves on my TS with a regular tool steel combo blade - the kind of blade you sharpen with a file.

I'd say that your only real issues are that you want a sturdy blade, not a thin kerf one, and you want to examine the blade to convince yourself that it can take a chip from the side.
Then when you feed the stock don't exceed the blade's side cutting ability. You'll feel it instantly if you do.

You can of course take an old style steel blade and file it in a way that it becomes a dedicated cove cutting blade by making it cut from one side.
