Well you put your hand in the handle and place the blade on a piece of wood and run it back and forth...:p
It works great now that Daryl Weir sharpened the blade...:D

Well now, that explains the great difficulty I've had with mine! I couldn't figure out how to hold that board straight while I ran it back and forth over the saw blade. ;)
