I need a router bit to cut a finger-pull profile on a drawer edge to match an existing profile. The approximate profile is shown in the attached drawing. The closest I have come is Woodline's WL-1454-1, but it is out of stock. Woodline's WL-1454 is close, but a little too big. MLCS has nothing even close. Holbren has no pictures of their bits, so that site is not helpful. Infinity has nothing close. Can anyone point me to a matching bit?? Thanks.

Try this link at Lee Valley. Not sure if it is the one you want but it seems close

I was just looking at the eagle catalog ang they have several that might work for you. Leevalley also has a few. Good luck.

Dave,

Take a look at the Whiteside 6015. Let me know if that's what you need. I have a brand new bit I need to let go.

Hoa - Sorry - that is not close enough. Thanks.

Ralph - That looks good - thanks. Pricey though. Woodline's is $35, if they had one.

Dave: You likely saw the Canadian Dollar price (I'm in Canada) Start at the home page and you can convert to USD$..It will be a little less. Good bits: I have several.

Would this work? It's a Magic Molder insert and I would lend you a head out of my inventory but you would have to buy the cutter. Problem with a lot of furniture is the designer designed the profile too and it becomes a custom and probably wasn't made for a router.

Ralph - that's certainly a better price. I did not notice the currency thing. I printed out the bit profile and did some calculations. It looks as close as I could hope to come. Thanks.

I sell them for 5 cents when I don't have them. Sorry, couldn't resist.
