Hello, I am not sure if this is the proper forum to ask....

we are looking for somebody that can punch some sign blanks for us out of mdf

or that have some sort of laser and can do the same thing?

We are in Utah. These are small craft items....

Anyone out there that can direct me to the proper business or person?

Thank you kindly.

Check the sticky thread with the list of laser and CNC owners in your area. Laser of 45 watts will cut 3/8" thick or less MDF.

Elise,

Are you the same ones that posted somewhere else about this?

We have the CNCs that are ideal for this type of production run if it is a large run the shipping will be offset. It doesn't matter much where we are, what should matter is how much the delivered cost of the blanks are when they arrive at your shop and of coarse the quality also.

Since we have both CNC and Laser I do not think laser can come close to what a CNC can do for a production run and the edges will not be charred/smokey. We cut lots of 1/4" mdf on the laser, when engraving is also part of the product, and it works great but the CNC is still faster at cutting especially thicker material.

You can PM your phone # and we can talk if you are interested in getting a quote.

Thank you,
Michael
