Hi,

Here are some pics of my homemade coping sled made from an old Bench Dog phenolic router plate.
It holds the wood tight and works well...but I just used stuff I had on hand to save time & money so I already wish it were larger, but for my current project it works fine.

Nice, Can a newbie ask a dumb question? What do you use on the bottom to ride in the T track?

You're going to enjoy having this fixture. I"ve used my several times and I've only had it for a couple of weeks. Using what you have on hand is half the fun:)

Nice, Can a newbie ask a dumb question? What do you use on the bottom to ride in the T track? Most coping sleds will ride against your fence. Some people do like using a miter slot. Personal preference, I guess.

Thanks guys.

Mike, just like Gary said it was designed to ride against the fence.

Very cool. They do come in handy. I put together a shop made sled much as you did; from what was on hand. It has been good little helper.

Is this the same Peter Pedisich from Philadelphia College of Art(now University of the Arts) 1983-1987 ? Hi. It’s Joanne DeWald.

Looks good. Those are helpful, I have one, not as nice and like it. Woodhaven's is really similar to the one you made and I know several people who have one of those and are very happy.
