Hi All
I need to mount a 6 inch flexibrass disc on a walnut plaque.
What is the best adhesive to use as double sided tape is not sticking properly.
I need to resolve this problem right away as the plaque is due tomorrow.
any help

I use 5-minute epoxy for instances like this

Is there any mess around the edges

You can just apply it to within a quarter inch of the edges. Good double sided tape will work well if it has a good non-oil finish, but if only stained with oil it will not hold. You can spray with something like krylon clear and then when that

A thin film of standard GE silicone caulking/adhesive also works, and sticks to just about anything

Next time you order the flexi, order it with the 3M adhesive coating already applied...then just peel and stick...no lumpy tape underneath. It's worth the additional cost.

3M adhesive is the best solution. I use that on other plastics but had this flexi in stock, without the adhesive. Cant afford to discard it.
Thanks
