my brother's recent project.
Since I haven't any photos of the latest stuff out of my shop, I figured I'd show cabinet my brother has been working on for his new spindle sander.

The cabinet is mostly 3/4" plywood. The doors are pine rails and stiles with, get this, raised panels of 1/4" masonite. There's a door on the left end that will have some shelves added to hold sander accessories. the right half will be used for router, router bit and probably some general storage. There are five casters under it with the fifth one being centered under the vertical divider.
The top is solid slate which he weighed at 96 lbs. The sander is 90 lbs and in the third image, the cabinet is entirely empty. He said there was no threat of the cabinet tipping over.
Not bad for a machinist. :D
Too bad there aren't any photos of the cabinet to the right in the pictures. You can only see the corner in them. There are 4 4'x8' doors. Lots of storage space there.
