Phew... I'm pooped

Well, after a long day, here are the fruits of my labor today.

This cabinet goes in the laundry room. It's ready for primer and paint. No back and no doors this time - just functional storage. MDF and pine face frame. 48" tall, 32" wide. 12" deep.

This "thing" goes in my son's closet. It too is ready for primer and paint. He'll keep his shoes on the bottom and more of his junk on the upper shelves. It fit's a tight spot, thus the funky looking "lid" on it. 80" tall, 19½" wide and 12" deep.

Plus, I installed some mega-shelves in another closet that I made yesterday. That's it. I'm pooped. And, the wife is happy: the cobbler's kids got shoes today.

Hi Todd, This is my first post here at the sawmill. Nice job on some very functional furniture. Now if I can figure out what all these different buttons and tags are, I could make these messages a work of art. I think I'll keep the postings simple for now.

Hi Ken, I checked out the tips and they were helpful. I even figured out how to change the color on this one. :) And add the smiley face. Once I figure out how to get a picture added...watch out!

This is item 4 in from the other tips portion:

4. When using the "Attach File" feature to insert a picture from your computer, preview your text message first and then browse your computer and enter the desired picture. Do Not use "preview" after entering the picture information or it will delete that info and will not include the picture in your post.

Looks like you were busy! But most important, the wife is happy and the kids got shoes! We are lucky to live in a place where we can provide for our own. Then add to that the ability to spend some time in the shop! Blessed we are!

Good work. It is that kind of "comfort" work (sort of like "comfort" food) that one gets done now and then that makes you feel good inside.
