Pipe clamp vice

Hi,

I remember reading a while back about someone using 3/4 pipe clamps on a workbench to mount a vice system.They even used bench dogs.Anyone ever hear of this?

There is a version on the homepage of woodmagazine.com right now. It looks handy for light duty work. If you designed it right you could move it around in a pinch.
