I thought you guys might be interested in the progress pictures of my new bed. Building the furniture for my master bedroom is one of my big woodworking goals. Only recently have I decided that I'm getting good enough to get started. So far so good. :)

Great work. Looks like a labor of love.Although I've only been at this a relatively short time, (both with electrons and now without) I have found that I usually underestimate my skills. It's only when we challenge ourselves do we get better! Keep up the good work.

After looking at your website though I don't see where you hide your Neander tools. Are they in the base cabinet drawers? Make surre you post photos of the bed after it is finished.

All the small stuff like marking guages, saddle squares, etc. are under the bench. My smallish plane collection is stored on the shelves next above the router table (seen behind me). My chisels, backsaws, burnisher, and awl have storage for them at the back of the bench. You can see it here:

The chisels in the bench are from my new Hirsch Firmer set. I took the stickers off of them as I used them. I promise you all the stickers are gone now. :)

Matt, somehow I had missed the bench. Great looking bench and really like the storage area underneath. Great craftsmanshp and desgn as well. Like your work. Proud Mom and child look good too.
