As it is very difficult for me with a digital to get a complete good photo of this piece I am posting three photos. This champagne bucket/cooler is 57 inches tall to the top of the finial and made of about 300 pieces. This is Pink Flame wood. One big insideout for the colum and a small one for the finial.

That might be too good for champagne Jim! That's one big inside out turning in the pedestal. Very nice piece! I'd love to have access to the woods you do. What kind of lathe are you using?

Where'd you get the miniature bottle of champagne Jim?:)

An incredible piece. Out of the range of my thought processes, that's for sure. So...What are you going to do with it?

Ken: This was our lathe when we just built it. Now it looks a bit worse.

Wow, what a great imagination! Lots of beautiful wood but just an unbelievable finish - looks like glass! Really nice work!

Mr King once again someone takes it to another level. Your work is incredible and the finsh is awsome. If you have pics of other peices please post them. I'm new to turning so work like yours is an inspiration. Thanks again for the post.
