Picked up a pretty good deal on eBay for some really sweet looking curly eucalyptus veneer which showed up today. 2 bundles, 10 pcs ea 10" x 24" ($40 for all). I dont have any specific plans for it yet. It's got a bit of waviness to it but not bad. I know I'll probably have to flatten it when I get close to actually using it, but in the meantime will just sandwiching it in between 2 pcs of MDF and tieing it tight slow or stop it from getting any further waviness?

That is a good way of storing it and protecting it from damage during storage. It can make it more difficult to get back to the veneer if you store a lot of different veneers so tag it with a good description.

I don't know how wavy it is but you may want to apply some softener to it before sandwhiching between mdf sheets. If it is too wavy and too brittle, you can crack the veneer.
