I have yet to get the dehumidifiers I need to keep my cellar and attached shop dry.
It's been humid lately and an idea popped
Place a 100 wat bulb inside the case of the machines for which I want to prevent condensation. Thussly turning each machine into a little easy bake oven.
The only thing that militates against this rather cheap idea is saw dust.
single bulb non-switched light fixtures don't generate sparks unless something is wrong like a loose contact. The bulb will get hot, but unless it's within a few inches of flamable material it won't make it hot enough to ignite.
Thoughts??
