Red Mallee Splash

This was from a nice little burl cap about 7" x 6-1/2" x 2-1/4". Turned as one piece. The color has NOT been adjusted with software.

The wood gets all the credit here! I love me some Mallee. :cool:

That is such a stunning piece of wood and such a cool piece... it really looks like a lava splash. Did you intend for it to be a bowl/platter or was it supposed to be strictly artistic? You did a wonderful job!
