I built a base & covered it with laminate for the drill-press with a drawer & place for the switch & painted & mounted another motor. I intend to build a wider wood table for it about as wide as the base which is about 16 1/2" I only have just so much room anything bigger will be drilled on the floor model drill-press.

Hey Bart that is a nice job. I like the drawer and switch idea. Looks good.

Very nice resto! What paint did you end up using? Rattle can?

Very nice. I've got a 1936-ish Walker-Turner bench-top drill press that looks to be very similar. I hope to restore it like you have yours.

Nice job. It looks like that DP has many years left in it. It's a fitting tribute to your dad as well.
