I'm working on assemblying my router table (still) and have decided to use pieces of MDF attached to the sides of the table to serve as bit drawer runners, similar to Norm's router table. Will glue be strong enough if I just face glue the runners to the side of the table? Or do I need to add some small nails/brads like Norm did?

Thanks,
Scott

Jeff, a few years ago I built a router table with plans from Jointech and used MDF for the sides. I used brads and glue for the drawer runners, which the plan called for. It seems to be holding up well. I don't know how it would have held up without the brads. Good luck though, the router table is probably the most used tool in the shop.
