 I have a Rigid 13" planer and I was planing some stock today and ran into a problem. I kept getting little rough spots in the wood about 2 1/2" from either end where the planer was cutting into the wood (a 32 or less) to far. So i check the level of the infeed and out feed table everything is level, Any advice?

I also have the RIGID 13" Planer.
Try raising the extreme outboard ends of the tables slightly.
There are 2 jam-nutted hex-head bolts, 1 on each end near the Planer body. Loosen the jam-nuts and back the bolts out 1/8 to 1/4 turn. Re-tighten the jam-nuts.

This little adjustment will force the leading and then the trailing ends of the work up enough to reduce or eliminate the "Snipe".
