Does anyone out there have the Veritas Panel Clamps? What do you think of them? Do you also own other clamps and how do they compare? Looking for something other than pipe and F-clamps to do the job of panels.

Don't Know what panel clamp you mean but I was using these from Woodpeckers today to clamp some boxes togeather http://http://www.woodpeck.com/boxclamp.html and they seem to work pretty good I only have 4 and you really need 8 for deep boxes, Kind of pricey though.

I have been using them for a while now. I glued up a top for a coffee table using them and was amazed at how flat it came out. Not so sure I would have achieved this using my other clamps. I find I now use these for most of my glue up jobs for panels.

I have them and think they're amazing. They work just as advertised. Besides making flat panel glue up unbelievably easy, the fact you can make a clamp of any length in as much time as it takes to drill two 3/4" holes can be really handy. I often use them as clamping bench dogs too.
For anyone who doesn't know what we're talking about:

I have four, and I'd like to get several more.

Looks like a nice system. How thick a glue-up do think is possible with them? Edit: Can you push the thickness much past the 2" they have listed...
