Good Morning/Evening!

I noticed that when some of you post pictures that you will have items captioned directly on the picture and sometimes arrows pointing to a specific object. Which editing program do you guys/gals use to do this?

Thanks!
John

I use Adobe Photoshop CS but several more afforadable programs will do the same trick. You can also use Microsoft Word.

I use PowerPoint. It's much easier than Photoshop in my opinion. When I'm done building the slides or pages, I save them as JPEG files.

I use HyperSnap for that sort of thing. It has all sorts of tools for drawing and adding text to a picture. It also has tools for doing screen shots, rescale and other stuff.

Paint Shop Pro, Corel Draw X3, MS Publisher. There some great graphics/photo programs out there and most have free trials and/or free counterparts on line.

Google Sketchup is free and will blow you away.

Mitchell is right. You could do Arrows, lines and text on photos in SU if you wanted to.

I use Gimp. Totally free. Mac, Linux, and Windows.

But using Google SketchUp is an interesting idea that hadn't occured to me...

I use Photoshop 9.0, but that is a rather hefty price ($900)
One of the most best ones, for the price (free) is the editor that comes with your windows....PAINT. Open a photo, you can insert arrows, text, etc: That works pretty well...

BTW to access paint....Go to Start/All programs/accesories/paint......this is for XP, 98 has a different path....
