Router end play

I have the Jessem/Milwaukee 3.5hp motor with remote switch. I noticed 4 thou end play in the shaft. Seems like its causing unacceptable results on some stiles and rails. ( different fit from one end to the other). Does anyone know how to remove the nut on the end so i can shim out the end play? I have a few pc7518 routers, none have end play.

I read this is a known issue w/ this router (5625). Milwaukee has a fix using a wavy washer ( do a search at woodnet - there was a recent post).
