Well I have tried to upload the plans via a zip file. It's only 520 kb but it keeps returning a "page cannot be displayed" page when I try to upload. Several have requested this and I'd like to upload it!

Add me to the list of people hoping a solution is found. I really like it, and so does LOML and son. I'm thinking Christmas presents for several friends and relatives.:)

Hmmmm, I see I can upload some .zips but not others (getting the same "page cannot be displayed" error as you). Maybe that stated 1.91 Mb limit on .zip files is not quite true (I could upload a 400k file but not a 600k file)??

If Mac approves it, I'll do dimensioned drawings or even post the SKP of his bookrack.

Last week I was unable to post a big (400K) zip file. I tried again the next day and it worked. Not sure what the story was.

Mac,
If you still cannot upload, I'd appreciate you e-mailing it to me.
Thanks,
Charlie

Does anyone have a picture of this ? I'd love to see it.

I would also like a copy of the plans.

Thankyou very much in advance.

Hi Mac, I would love to see those plans :o . I absolutely love A&C pieces. If I ever get caught up on my other "weekend" projects I would love to try my hand at some Greene and Greene inspired pieces.

First is a pic of his original, the following two are one that I made based on his, but using lacewood instead of oak.

Please note that those of you viewing this thread in this specific forum who are not contributors will not be able to work with images or attachments "here". Please see the sticky thread at the top of the plans forum for more details and consider becoming a contributor to SMC...we are currently in our fund drive and there are some really nice perks including eligibility for the Free-Stuff drawings and access to images and files in this plans forum.

Don't worry that you can't find them. Mac's original quandary was that he can't upload them. Now maybe he can.

It looks like it is going to work this time so remember these are class notes I handed out in my class I taught at American Sycamore last year. There is no actual drawing but there is sufficient info to build it. Send me a note if you have a question. I usually check in here every few days so be patient.

Mac,

When I downloaded the file it appeared as "Bookrack Class Notes2.zip.html" - I deleted the "HTML" and was able to expand the "zip" file to a "pdf" file. I'm using a Mac computer. Not sure if this is a problem for others.

Excellent set of detailed plans! As a former teacher (HVAC-Electricity), I know how difficult and time consuming it can be to make a handout that is all things to all students.

Thanks, for posting a great set of plans.:)
