I have a pc with windows XP. Is there a way to scan a work order to use as a template. I want to make a template so I can fill in the lines from a older work order. My computer crashed awhile back & I lost the original work order template I had. Help on this would be greatly appreicated. By the way I have Microsoft office. Thanks

can you save the scan as a PDF and import that into word? when customers of mine have a PDF "form", I will import that into Quark or InDesign to then use it as a template. I would guess word would allow the same thing.

Word 2003 doesn't allow importing of PDF's. 2007 may, I have yet to give that a try.

Sometimes the software that comes with scanners has document scanning and recreation capabilities. Otherwise, there are several good products on the market.
