I went and visited Bill tonight. What a great guy, I found out all the things I have been doing wrong, well prolly not all I am sure I do lots other things wrong :eek: learned a few new cuts and learned a whole lot about tooling.
Anyone fairly new if you get the chance Go take a couple hour lesson you won't be sorry.

I had a great time too Bob, and I hope your attention span does not suffer today during class, thinking about that wood in the trunk. :D Bob neglected to mention though, that I showed him my special technique for removing a bowl from the chuck while the lathe is still running! ;) You hafta watch where you stick that gouge...
