I have taken a lesson from Raymond to post so here goes. these are some walnut bowls I turned from some old very dry walnut a friend gave me . Danish oil and buffed. Largest one is about 11 inches by 3 inches.

Now if you can just remember how to post next time.
Nice looking bowls Papa. I like the third one best. Good job.

Dale, you did a great job. I really like the venter one as it looks like the form of a pie plate.( I can taste that flakey crust and rubarb filling now) It really shows off the wood in a different way I think. Keep up the great work!:)
Bythe way Dale, I loved your Oak as well.

Doggone if talent doesn't appear to be hereditary! Well done Dale! I, like your son, like the 3rd one the best!

Nice work Dale! I agree with Chris that the center bowl (pie pan style) seems to show off the grain a little more and for me would be the harder bowl to turn. The third bowl however is more along the lines of what I like to turn and find it a more pleasing form. Good work!

I'm with the rest - I think I'm going to have to see if LOML will whip up an apple pie this week...
Nice job on the bowls. Keep it up.
