While we are on the subject... Can you do this type of conversion in CorelDraw 12??? If so can you point me to the info on how....

Hi Brent;
I think the Trace program in Corel 12 is actually better for some conversion applications than X3. In their efforts to make the Trace function part of X3, Corel had to leave out a number of options and capablilities. One of them is the Centerline Trace function which works well in 12. Change your gif to a bmp file and the to a b/w 1 bit file in Trace. Play around with the reduce nodes and iterations function and use Centerline Trace.
Send me your file and I will do it in 12 and try to outline the procedure step by step for you.

What George said. Note also that if you upgraded from 12 to X3, the CorelTrace program from 12 is probably still installed.
