To C.N.C. or not to

I was talking to a friend the other week about lasers and computer controlled machines and the amazing stuff you can do with them. And he pulls this quarter out of his pocket. And says take a look at this. I said wow! How did you do this! Laser? Water Jet? C.N.C. Milling machine? He said no. He just did it on his scroll saw, and used a spiral carbide cutting blade. Boy I felt humbled:o It amazes me the things we can do with our machines (faster ect.) but individual handmade stuff by talented people is still neat.
My friend made these for his personal coin collection.

Yes this way cool... Nice things are made from hand adn that is why I loved coming here to read adn learn about my laser as they use it as a tool to combine with hand talents. I am amazed always.
