New cyclone separator!

Well, today I picked up my new cyclone separator! I have it out of the box, and I hope to get it up and running this weekend. It is the separator that is sold on that famous auction site that we don't talk about or link to:rolleyes: . I sent a note to the man who makes them asking how much it would cost to ship it to me, and he replied that they were carried here in Rochester at a specialty tool store called "Specialty Tools" (go figure:D ). I went there today, and not only did they have them, but they were ON SALE:eek: ! My lucky day! They were $19.00 less than on the auction site, and no shipping cost:) ! Here's some pics of it after I uncrated it. The one picture is from the bottom of the cyclone looking up. It didn't show up as well as I hoped. I will post some pics of the whole unit once I get it assembled and in place. Can't wait to try it! Thanks for looking.

Jim, not sure which key dimensions you mean, but the cyclone is 37" high overall, it has a 6" top outlet, a 4" side inlet, it's 17" in diamenter, and the funnel piece is 20" long. The 6" outlet extends 17" down into the unit.

My thanks to all for the replies and inquiries! I have to go to Woodcraft tomorrow to get a section of 6" hose to go from the cyclone outlet to the turbine inlet, and a 6" - 90 degree elbow for the top. Cutting the garbage can lid to fit the cyclone was a real pain, but it's done with a real nice custom cut gasket between the cyclone and the lid:D ! I hope to finish it up tomorrow and take some more pics of the completed project.
