Well my new X-mas gift is up and running. Bought the X5 with the 5 year warranty for the same price R--klr was wanting for their prefered model with only one year warranty. Pretty nice piece of equipment. Rock solid and dead on out of the box.

Thanks for looking.

Same with mine, perfect right out of the box.

The 6" in sometimes a PITA, but for the money it's worth it to start.

You'll note that my shop is smaller than a bread-box.

Now Jim...I was really hoping you would get an 8" so I could just run down the road when I needed it!

Hey Mark I've got a friend just 2 miles away that has just such a jointer. Course you've already met him. That would be my friend from the Collinsville show.

I've got a 6" jointer. Bigger would be nicer, but theres always ripping and glueing. Maybe some day. Congrats on the gloat, btw.

After taking the fam to Disney in Dec, I was very good through all the sales and didn't ask Santa for much. Hopefully I can control myself in Collinsville...

Reason I bought a jointer was some stools I was building for the grand kids and some of their friends. Needed some glue up that were 11" wide and my table saw wouldn't cut the mustard so to speak.
