a few pens

Here are the pens i did in between both exploding :mad: and non exploding bowls. I like the imperial and jr statesmen pens, but not the americana gold rolerball, the black part scratches real easy, the rodium ones were fine as they don`t have the black on them. theres bermuda cedar, walnut, olivewood, black ash, boxelder and buckeye.

Well done John! What finishing method did you use on your pens?

I used ca, 1 coat thin, 1 coat thick, a few i had to add a little extra as i sanded through it, then a coat of turners polish from LV, having a little trouble getting the ca smooth to eliminate some sanding, some went on real nice others were a pain.

sleep is for whimps, it was 6 bowls, plus 2 i destroyed, 6 xmas ornaments, 2 tool handles and 2 more pens that are not in the picture.
