Man these really get addicting after you get the hang of it!!!
My homemade tools are actually working ---

Walnut 8" tall 3.5" dia
Ash 5" tall 2.5" dia
Cherry 3.5" tall 3" dia
Walnut 4.5" tall 6" dia
sanded to 600 with 1/8" wall thickness and wipe-on poly for the finish...

I would love to hear what you think--
Thanks
--Chris

Beautiful!!! And I just understood what HF meant (hollow form? right?).

Shoot, I can't even get my bowls that thin and stay on the lathe let alone around the bend and in the inside! Great job, a little envious!

Excellent Chris!! You don't know HOW addicting they can be. You'll find yourself thinking of little else. Great job on these. The world is yours.;) :)

All are lovely, but I really like the ask and the second walnut best. I guess I'm just partial to those gorgeous grain patterns and figures. If you need a place to stash these--as in you are "running out of room"--I have a shelf at my house that will hold those two.

Nice work!

Nice job on all. The 8" tall vase is my favorite!
