I have just acquired a King WA-14M bandsaw from a friend (see gloat post) and am pretty much a complete bandsaw newbie. Here are some pictures:

I have a number of questions:

1. Does anyone know where I can get a manual for this? King does not make this model anymore. It looks like it has been sold in the US under various brand names but the same model number. It is Taiwanese make.
2. Does anyone have any experience with this saw, good, bad or indifferent? Can I expect to be able to resaw using this saw?
3. Where can I find good info on how to set up and use a band saw?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Hans

Oops - I meant to recommend the Bandsaw Handbook by Mark Duginske. The one above is not out yet.

Looks like the Grizzly I bought years ago about 11-12 or so. Not a bad saw, but I bought a old Delta/Rockwell at an auction and sold the Grizzly. The books the recommend they above are a great place to start learn how to use it and set it up properly. Here a link to Grizzly site it's the model G1019 no longer made but you can still download the manual.http://www.grizzly.com/manuals.aspx
