I promised to show this when it was complete. I finally got a round to it today. 9 1/2" X 3"; Sanded to 600 Grit and brush lacquer finish.:)

Did you end up hand sanding the bowl due to the warp or were you able to power sand?

Did you end up hand sanding the bowl due to the warp or were you able to power sand?Steve, I had to do both to get it where it is, but to be honest I probably could have invested a couple more hours in sanding it by hand.:)

Chris, I like the edge treatment, the rolled lip works very well with that shape. Good job , especally getting the contrasting colors spliting the bowl.Can't really see the warp tho, must be the SHINEY GLARE :D, or is that the spinny glare ?????:confused: Nice work man !
