Question about Christmas compressor

I received a DeWalt 55155 air compressor for Christmas. It had absolutely no directions or paperwork with it. Anyone else have this experience?

The box appeared to be original and never to have been opened.

I was having dinner when I suddenly realized I had not flipped the compressor over and looked inside it. I went out to the garage, flipped it over and looked inside. Of course, there it was.

I'll slink back to my corner now.
