A friend came over this am and helped me lift the cast iron top off of my new(1940) unisaw53815
The inside of the saw loos like new. The belts can't be more than a year or 2 old. All bearings are in excelent shape and the only problem is a little squeaking when raising/lowering and tilting the arbor which a little lubrication took care of.
The base of the saw needs a little paint but I think that can wait.53818
The new motor will get installed tomorrow if I can find some help.
Tuesday will get the proper heaters for the controller, put it back together,and will be ready to cut. Will decide on a new fence down the road.
