I visit online is www.westpennhardwoods.com.
I have ordered from them 5 or 6 times in the past and I have never been disappointed. I have recommended them to several friends and no one has been disappointed.

Hope this helps,

Mike,

Thanks for the recommendation. I ordered and just received some beautiful birdseye maple from West Penn Hardwoods. Only negative is that I have to pay sales tax, being in the same state, but their product and service is top rate.

Hi John,

I don't have any good source for the QS sycamore but
I know of a place here (in Claremont, NH) where they have
over 600,000 b.f. in stock (no, the 600 thousand b.f. is NOT
a misprint) and another 400,000 yarded and in the kilns.
I know they ship out to car makers, pool stick
manufacturers and stuff like that and you can go in and search
through the piles for whatever you like. Prices may be a question
but quality and availability certainly aren't.
If nothing else maybe I could help you facilitate the purchase
& shipping and there is NO sales tax here in NH....
PM me if you want

John,

I have a source for QS sycamore in SW Missouri, in the Lake of the Ozarks area, which is about 3 hours from my place. You talk to him, he cuts a tree if needed, kiln dries it, and ships it to destination. I have no idea what he will charge for shipping. But you should talk to him directly - I am not the middle man  .

If you cannot source it anywhere else easily, please let me know and I will send you his name and contact information. This sawyer is willing to ship anywhere - his prices are VERY good. I have 200 bf coming in about 2 weeks.

This place has it. I have made 1 purchase from them and they seem to be helpful and reputable:

Thanks for all the recommendations, and offers for assistance. I now have 2 more suppliers to add to my list.
I was already familiar with Curlywoods, but they just didn't have the B/E maple.

I agree with Jim here. I am headed there in the morning tomorrow (Saturday) and can do a little recon on their stock if you like. PM me if there is something specific that you are looking for.
