I knew sooner or later a project will come along that will require miters. Well, it happened sooner than I predicted. This sled was featured about 2 years ago in ShopNotes.

Gee, almost looks like one o' dem Stealth Bombers, don't it? :D Nice job on the sled, Alex. When I still had my Delta contractor saw, I build a more simple 90° sled and used it a LOT! Very handy. :)

Looks like it's just shy of 90 degrees. Seriously, it looks great..joe

Now that you mentioned it, it does look like a stealth bomber... going to paint it black. :D

Right - Paint it black, put it on a SawStop and you can hit and run and no one will know the difference. Dick B.

I like that design, Alex. It differs from the one I made in that it doesn't have a 90º front fence (which I use for cross cuts on small pieces) but that's actually good if you find yourself working with longer material. Great job!

Don't forget when you're using it to cut opposing parts on opposing sides of the jig for "exact" fit...your miters will be very tight!
