Kurt - congrats!! I've had mine for a little over a week now and absolutely love it! What a difference it makes to be able to turn something and not have the intense smell of the wood - meaning you are breathing it - or the dust all over your glasses! Enjoy!

Kurt,

Had mine for close to a year and would not trade it for anything in my shop. I wear it while using most all my tools and it is especially nice in the summer with the cool breeze blowing down your face. No more foggy glasses either:D

That looks just like my Xmas present as well!

I LOVE this thing - no more sinus problems for days on end after sessions in the shop. I have DC but the lathe seems to spray the dust everywhere and this is the only solution that I could see working.

You will be VERY happy with your new toy. Reading here convinced me to try one and me and my sinuses are grateful!

Kurt,
I've been thinking about getting one of those. It looks pretty bulky, I was wondering if it's heavy and uncomfortable to wear.

I've had one for almost two years Liem. It does take some getting used to, but I found that by the 2nd or 3rd time I was totally used to it. In fact a couple of times I forgot I had it on.

Nice! The Darth Vader look is in this year!!

The gentleman who taught the pen turning class I took at WoodCraft had one and told the story about a piece that came loose, hit him in the head and bounced up, burrowing into the basement ceiling. The noise was so loud his wife came running from two stories above. He picked himself up off the floor to find he had a scratch. The AirShield was undamaged too.

Clean air and a whole lot more!
