This is our infant daughters first christmas, and to celebrate, I made her a white oak and walnut rocking horse. The head is the only part that I used a pattern from.

She does love it. After getting over her initial first fear of the thing, she has been riding it almost non-stop. Now onto more projects...giddy-up!!

Way to go. My son received a Rocking Horse when he was 2 years old from a family freind that is a woodworker as well and it was beauitfully made as well. I hope yours becomes a family Heirloom as well!
