So, the LOML gave me a set of Marples Blue Chip chisels and a bottle of Booker's Bourbon. I couldn't help noticing that the presentation box the bourbon came in was better made than the box the chisels came in!

OTOH, I suspect the chisels themselves will last longer than the whiskey. ;)

Here's hoping that all your Christmas wishes are coming true today.

Very nice gifts...of course, they are to be used separately, unless the latter is used as antiseptic when the former invades your flesh, LOL! :)

Now you'll have a better box to store the Chisels....!!:)

Jim, that's good advice -- especially since the stuff turns out to be about 121 proof! Amazingly smooth, though...

Roy -- I might just have to give that some thought. ;)

You will of course save the whiskey for mixing premium shellac.

That borders on blasphemy!

Try adding just a touch of pure (not distilled) water to that whiskey. Just a dozen drops or so to the glass. The flavors will open up even more. You'll be surprised.
