What is your recipe for polishing?
I have the festool ro 150 feq..
I read John Luacs's demo on http://www.woodshopdemos.com/KoaFin-5.htm
The problem I am having is removing the wax after letting it dry for about 15 minutes.
Any advise you guys can share would be appreciated.
Is this the right order.
1.DD3 - festool 400 platin
2.P16 - cant find festool platin 600 like john lucas suggested
3.P2L - hard felt pad
4.P091E - soft felt pad then sheepskin

Thanks,
-Mike-

Mike,
What wax? The simple answer would be to use mineral spirits and dampen a small pad with it and remove it that way, but I dont know whick wax you are talking about. In the Menzerna steps, those are buffing compounds that are water soluable so if there is and residue, a water dampened cloth will work. I followed that with Watco pen. oil and that should be easy to remove even when dried...you c an use a little mineral spirits. There are times when I use Briwax and rub that off before it is "too dry."
So Mike, whiich wax are you having aproblem with?
