I was at the local hardwood supplier and they had some H.O. Schumaker Blades for 25% off. I have not heard of these blades before and couldn't find any info on the web about them. Anybody ever used them? How would they compare to other prem. blades out there?

They're made in Germany by Leitz. Those that I've seen appear identical to the blades made by Leitz under the Irwin Woodworking logo, which were clearance priced by distributor Mike Jackson over at Woodnet. Those that I've tried are very good performers....perhaps not quite at the level of my WWII, but are well made and cut well. Mike Jackson's prices on the Irwin version was phenominal...as in $10-$29. Not sure if 25% off MSRP offers much advantage over proven values from Freud and others.
