Does anyone hav eany feedback or experiance with this saw from Harbor freight. Seems like a good price.

I believe Fine Woodworking reviewed it with a host of other sliding saws. Needless to say it rated the lowest and wasn't very accurate. Personally I'd avoid that saw.

IMHO; total waste of money. The BORG has the DW703 on sale for $149. No slider but vey accurate and very tough.

Amen Per. If I start to add up the money I spent on "let's just see" tools that I now have to replace, I get dizzy.

Agreed. I bought an off the wall brand off ebay for like 150.00. the Arm flexes so bad that I can't keep straight cut's. After the TS purchase. I'll be getting a Dewalt.

I'm new here myself. I think Borg is short for buying organization, i.e. Home Depot or perhaps it's Lowe's. Anyway it's one of those.:rolleyes:
