Really Nice pen Bob, Have you ever made one into a candle stick? what would one soak that in ? the same wood stabilizer for punky wood? I wonder if indian corn would work ? multi color stuff ... hey John ..maybe lam 50 of em and put em on John's lathe when he gets er done:eek: :eek: . big dang bowl for sure ...look out down under...:D , Yep Chris them guys built sommeeee bowl .I can just see John now, New shop w/ 10 ton bridge crane, 110 horse Deere .... corn chips flying all over the place .....:eek: :D See what ya started Bob...:D uh ... I'm in.

And if John's turning corn......his horseys will eat the shavings too! And he can use the equine fertilizer to grow the corn.......Isn't recycling fun?

Guys I saw one before and tried it. This is my secaond one as the first sold quickly. I take the corn off and soak it in dna, let it dry then cut it to size and soak over night in minwax wood hardener. Then do as I would wood. the designers turn out good, but I tried a slim line and it blew apart. But not much material on the slimline. But hey corn's cheap.

That is the easiest way to make snakewood I have ever seen and a lot cheaper . Very nice.
