These are from a pattern on the Woodturning Online website- nice, informative site.

My wife walked by and saw the pattern and thought they would make good gifts for her co-workers. So I made up a few... pretty easy and good skew practice!

Thanks for looking!

Very nice, Mark.

But I have to say, if I tried to make angels with a skew, they'd be blushing!

Nice job, Mark although, I tend to agree w/Jim B.; I'd have to use a small gouge, lest I skew them up! :o :D

Very nice, But if I used the skew they wouldn't be blushing. it would look more like the texas chainsaw massacre. :D

Yup, I'd probably unskew their pretty little heads!

Nice job Mark! (from another Mark):)

Thanks for the comments, guys!

It's been a good experience trying to use the skew exclusively but I have a 3/4" skew that makes it tough to get into the really tight spots.

Also good experience to turn a ball (sphere)- Please note the Charlie Brown head on the cherry one! It was the first one and I think the others came out a little better.

Its a good project for scrap pieces

Merry Christmas everyone!
