vacation time, new lathe awaits

I'm off for 10 days back to canada for Christmas vacation, a new general 25-650 is at the local suppliers waiting for pickup friday morning. Also a set of p&n tools & stronghold chuck and other odds and ends from leevalley, pen kits and blanks from various venders, bowl blanks from an auction place. First up is to turn handles for the tools then practice on a few bonkers to get the hang of them, i`ll be in the basement turning wood for days:D.

I`ll be away from the comperter a few days but hope you post what you make with it, i have a bunch more in my suitcases, anyone want to swap a couple pen blanks pm your addess to me and i`ll send a few out, bermuda cedar is actually from the juniper family, it turns nice.
