Well Merry Christmas all! I just wanted to show you this mini hope chest I built, still have some hardware to put on, but just about finished. Walnut, 28 inches long, by 12 wide. I used Tried and True original with beeswax. The finish came out great, looks very antiquish. Thanks for looking.

Sweet! I'm about to start a similar project. How did you join the breadboard ends of the lid and were you concerned about wood movement? Also, what did you use for the bottom and how is the plinth attached? Inquiring minds want to know.
