Machine Belt Storage?

I have a spare poly-v belt and a length of vari-link that I don't plan to use for awhile. Is there a 'better' way to store them besides 'dry and protected from physical harm'? Baggie with moisture pack? baby powder?

Glenn,

I use a product called 303 protectant. It is designed to keep all types of plastics, rubber, vinyls, etc. from drying out. Someone got me hooked on it using it for rubber gaskets (i.e. car doors and campers slides) keeping them from drying out.
